Isaac Palmer is one of the survivors of the North Bay Bridge collapse, saved by Sam Lawton's premonition. After the disaster, mortician William Bludworth warns the group that Death does not like to be cheated. His death is the third in the order of the survivors, following Candice Hooper's fatal gymnastics accident.
